Abstract
A cerium (Ce) mediated photoelectrochemical oxidation (MPEO)/H2O2 system, integrating UV photocatalysis and hydroxyl radical (⋅OH) oxidation, was developed to improve the degradation of sulfamethazine (SMT). SMT is an emerging contaminant with medical toxicity in environmental matrices.
