Abstract
In search for a drug-containing material when creating polymer-free drug-eluting stents, an analysis of the available literature is carried out. It is shown that one of the promising materials for this purpose is mesoporous silicon (the cross-sectional pore diameter is 2–50 nm), which has high biocompatibility and biodegradability.
