Abstract
We consider forced oscillations of a oblate fluid drop, which is surrounded by another liquid and confined between two parallel rigid plates subject to vibrations. The axisymmetrical vibration force is parallel to the symmetry axis of the drop. The velocity of the contact line motion is proportional to the deviation of the contact angle from its equilibrium value.
