Abstract
To investigate the association between gout treatment and heart failure (HF).Patients with gout between 2000 and 2010 constituted the gout cohort. The main outcome was a new diagnosis of HF. Multivariable Cox proportional hazard regression models were used to measure the effect of gout on the risk of developing HF.
