Abstract
This prospective study analyzes the factors responsible for pre and postoperative persistent tinnitus following vestibular schwannoma (VS) surgery and discusses the possible etiopathogenetic mechanisms.Sixty-seven consecutive patients with unilateral VS operated via the retrosigmoid-suboccipital approach were included in the study.
