Abstract
Recent data from Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group/American College of Radiology Imaging Network 6685 suggests that fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography/computed tomography offers a sensitive modality for evaluation of lymph node metastasis in the neck, with an overall negative predictive value of 87%, which improved to 94% when a maximum standardized uptake value of 2.5 was used. 1 Lowe V.J.
