Measuring Production and Comprehension of Written Arguments in Upper-Elementary Grades
Abstract
We describe a systematic process of developing measures of argument production and comprehension. These measures, designed for students in upper-elementary language arts classrooms, are called Writing Argument and Reading Argument.
