Abstract
Regular resonance modes in GaN-based polygonal microdisks are investigated by simulations and photoluminescence measurements. Based on a standard GaN-based blue light emitting diode wafer on a Si substrate, hexagonal and octagonal microdisks with similar dimensions are fabricated.
