Abstract
Human sucrase enzyme is a key therapeutic target for type 2 diabetes. While sugarcane sucrase inhibitor (sucinh) modulates invertase activity thereby accumulates sucrose. Molecular level understanding of sucinh towards mammalian α-glucosidases is scarce.
