Abstract
Four novel bacterial strains, designated Z294 T , Z311, Z443 T and Z446, were isolated from the intestinal contents of plateau pika ( Ochotona curzoniae ) on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau of China. Cells were Gram-stain-positive, catalase-positive, oxidase-negative, aerobic, non-motile and short-rod shaped.
