Abstract
Industrially important ethylene easily inserts into the titanium carbon bond of titanaaziridines to give titanapyrrolidines. Based on this reaction, this work reports the first examples of titanium-catalyzed hydroaminoalkylation reactions of ethylene with secondary amines, which directly deliver α-ethylated amines.
