Abstract
The Cuonadong deposit is located in the Cuonadong gneiss dome of the eastern Tethyan Himalaya and is characterized as a large- to superlarge-scale Sn polymetallic deposit in the Himalaya orogen. The mineralization pattern includes skarn W-Sn mineralization in the strong shear zone of the dome mantle, hydrothermal Sn-W veins controlled by north-south-trending rifts (NSTRs), and Be-Rb mineralization in pegmatitic leucogranite.
