Aloin is the major anthraquinone glycoside obtained from the Aloe species. Transforming growth factor β-induced protein (TGFBIp) is an extracellular matrix protein and released by primary human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and functions as a mediator of experimental sepsis.
