Abstract
Multiple heavy metal–resistant bacterium, Micrococcus luteus strain AS2, was isolated from industrial waste water of District Sheikhupura, Pakistan. The isolated bacterium showed minimum inhibitory concentrations of 55 and 275 mM against arsenite and arsenate.
