Study of ozone sensitized diethyl carbonate oxidation at low and intermediate temperatures

Published: Jan 5, 2020
Abstract
The oxidation of diethyl carbonate (DEC) with O3 additions was studied in an atmospheric jet stirred reactor (JSR) at 400-850K in this work. It was seen that DEC had no low temperature reactivity without O3 addition in experiment, while the oxidation began from 450K with O3 additions. A DEC/O3 model was developed in this work and pathway analysis showed that the O3 assisted low temperature oxidation of DEC came from the reaction of DEC+O instead...
