Abstract
O-acetylation of alginate produced by the opportunistic human pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa significantly contributes to its pathogenesis. Three proteins, AlgI, AlgJ and AlgF have been implicated to form a complex and act together with AlgX for O-acetylation of alginate.
