Abstract
The Tantou Au deposit is a large-scale gold deposit in the Xiong’ershan area. A geochemical study of pyrite was conducted using laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Two types of hydrothermal pyrite were identified in the ores and wall rocks, i.e., the fine euhedral pyrite in brecciated ores (Py1) and coarse grains disseminated in the quartz-sulfide veins (Py2).
