The Changning-Menglian suture in the Sanjiang region of SW China, the Chiang Rai line in Thailand, and the Bentong-Raub suture in Peninsular Malaysia are marked by remnants of the Paleo-Tethys oceanic lithosphere in Mainland Southeast Asia.
