Abstract
This study employs cloud-to-ground (CG) lightning flash data from the U.S. National Lightning Detection Network (NLDN) to examine temporal and spatial distributions of lightning flash and thunderstorm day (TD) occurrences over the contiguous United States from 1993 to 2018.
