Geochemistry of volcanic rocks from Oldoinyo Lengai, Tanzania: Implications for mantle source lithology

Oldoinyo Lengai is the only active carbonatite volcano within the East African Rift Valley in northern Tanzania. The volcano is dominated by peralkaline silicate rocks with natrocarbonatites.
