Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrinopathy in women of reproductive age. PCOS is characterized by hyperandrogenism, menstrual disorders, and polycystic ovarian morphology. PCOS patients have an increased risk of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and infertility.
