Abstract
Background null Manganese toxicity can occur as a complication of home parenteral nutrition (HPN). Patients can present with Parkinson disease-like symptoms. Preparations of trace elements (TEs) in parenteral nutrition (PN) generally provide amounts in excess of requirements.
