Abstract
Transgender women experience disproportionate risk of HIV acquisition and transmission. We piloted ‘Sheroes’, a peer-led group-level intervention for transgender women of any HIV status emphasizing empowerment and gender affirmation to reduce HIV risk behaviors and increase social support.
