Abstract
Four new 4′-dimethoxyphenyl-(2,6-di-2-pyrazinyl) pyridines (1–4) were synthesised by a facile one-pot method using 2-acetylpyrazine and n,n’-dimethoxybanzaldehydes. All compounds (1–4) were characterised by 1H and 13C{1H} NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopy. The molecular structure of compounds 1, 2, and 3 was also confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction.
