Reactions of Rebamipide with Hypobromous Acid

Rebamipide is a therapeutic agent for gastric ulcers and chronic gastritis. Hypobromous acid (HOBr) is generated not only by eosinophils but also by neutrophils in the presence of bromide ions in the plasma.
