Abstract
Whiteflies (Aleyrodidae) are tiny hemipteran insects with specialized ontogeny and morphology. A new extinct taxon, Paraburmoselis kachinensis gen. et sp. nov., is erected herein based upon a fossil whitefly trapped in the mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber from northern Myanmar.
