The thermodynamic hydrate inhibition (THI) effect induced by three different quaternary ammonium salts (QASs) namely tetraethylammonium iodide (TEAI), tetramethylammonium bromide (TMAB) and tetraethylammoniun (TEAB) on the formation of methane gas hydrates has been investigated.
