Abstract
Depleted Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (DMAPS), also known as depleted CMOS sensors, are extremely attractive for particle physics experiments. As the sensing diode and readout electronics can be integrated on the same silicon substrate, DMAPS remove the need for hybridization.
