The present work deals with the development of lanthanide nickelate based oxygen electrodes (Ln2NiO4+δ, with Ln = Nd, La or Pr) as the oxygen electrode for both solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolysis (SOEC) applications.
