Abstract
Tm 3+ doped zinc silicate glass‐ceramics composed of SiO 2 ‐Al 2 O 3 ‐ZnO‐K 2 O‐Tm 2 O 3 embedded with ZnO nanocrystals were successfully fabricated by melt‐quenching method with subsequent heat treatment. Tm 3+ ions and ZnO nanocrystals were introduced as blue and yellow luminescence centers, respectively.
