Abstract
Atrial fibrillation (AF) is associated with oxidative stress and Ca2+-handling abnormalities in atrial myocytes. Our prior study has demonstrated the involvement of CD44, a membrane receptor for hyaluronan (HA), in the pathogenesis of AF.
