Microstructures consisted of bainite/ferrite matrix and varied distribution of martensite-austenite (M-A) constituent in the heat-affected zone of X100 pipeline steel were simulated, and their effect on stress corrosion cracking (SCC) mechanism in acidic soil environment were investigated.
