Abstract
A remarkable new stonefly, Burmacroneuria projecta gen. et sp. nov. is described and illustrated from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. The new fossil genus belongs to the species rich family Perlidae and is perhaps a new member of subfamily Acroneuriinae.
