Abstract
Mycobacterium tuberculosis employs defense mechanisms to protect itself from reactive oxygen species (ROS)–mediated cytotoxicity inside macrophages. In the current study, we found that a secretory protein of M. tuberculosis PPE2 disrupted the assembly of NADPH oxidase complex.
