Abstract
Phytoremediation using local macrophytes was explored in Balili River, Philippines. The macrophytes used were Amaranthus spinosus, Eichhornia crassipes, Eleusine indica and Pennisetum purpureum planted in pilot-scale constructed wetlands and subjected to varying hydraulic retention time (HRT) treatments.
