Abstract
Quinoa straw was pretreated with 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([Bmim]Cl). The levels of pretreatment temperature, duration, and liquid/solid ratio were optimized using orthogonal design to enhance the reducing sugar yield of treated sample.
