Abstract
Objectives. Typically, patients referred to cardiac surgery are aged. Because EuroSCORE tend to overestimate and STS tend to underestimate the risk of mortality after cardiac surgery, frailty has become interesting as a potential predictor for mortality after cardiac surgery.
