Abstract
New data of petrography, mineralogy, and geochemistry from the Irtysh shear zone in Eastern Kazakhstan reveal three types of gabbro: (1) dolerite and gabbrodolerite, (2) biotite-bearing gabbronorite and gabbrodiorite, and (3) layered peridotite-gabbro intrusions.
