Abstract
Patients with chronic thrombocytopenia (cTCP) were excluded from the pivotal transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) trials. The National Inpatient Sample was queried and propensity score matching was performed to evaluate the prevalence and impact of cTCP on in-hospital clinical outcomes after TAVI.
