Synthesis, characterization and electroluminescence properties of a new mixed-ligand diorganotin(IV) complex

A new mixed-ligand diorganotin(IV) complex, [μ-(4-dpe){Me 2 Sn(cup) 2 } 2 ] ( 1 ), was synthesized by reacting dimethyltin(IV) dichloride with 1,2-di(4-pyridyl)ethylene (4-dpe) and ammonium N-Nitroso-N-phenylhydroxylamine (cup).
