Coix lacryma-jobi chymotrypsin inhibitor displays antifungal activity

A novel chymotrypsin inhibitor, named ClCI, was purified from coix seed (Coix lacryma-jobi L.) by aqueous two-phase extraction, chymotrypsin–Sepharose 4B affinity chromatography and centrifugal ultrafiltration.
