A novel seed plants gene regulates oxidative stress tolerance in Arabidopsis thaliana

Oxidative stress can lead to plant growth retardation, yield loss, and death. The atr7 mutant of Arabidopsis thaliana exhibits pronounced tolerance to oxidative stress.
