Cardiovascular disease represent the leading cause of death in Croatia, among which acute myuocardial infarction and CVD are the most common diagnoses in this group.Statistical analysis for the period from 1970-1995 year show constant rise of mortality rates for 410 and 430-438 codes of the ICD for all age groups.
