Abstract
A silicified gymnospermous wood, Protophyllocladoxylon zhaobishanensis sp. nov., is described from the Induan (Lower Triassic) Jiucaiyuan Formation in Zhaobishan section, Shanshan County, southern Bogda Mountains, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwestern China.
