Abstract
The finding of hypovitaminosis in pregnancy D has prompted the debate about its supplementation. The objective of the study was to measure the prevalence of hypovitaminosis D in mothers and newborns. A one-year observational study was conducted including the measuring of vitamin D levels in mothers and in the umbilical cord blood of newborns.
