Direct torque control-based power factor control of a DFIG
Abstract
This paper proposes the Direct Torque Control (DTC) of a Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) based on a Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) with power factor control strategy. The proposed technique aims at controlling the generator electromagnetic torque and rotor flux while controlling the power factor at the stator terminals. The proposed control is achieved through generating the referential electromagnetic torque from the Maximum Power...
