Abstract
Wall chemical effects on wall-stabilized cool flames have been studied experimentally. The DME/O2 cool flame was stabilized through impingement of the mixture onto a heated wall at 700 K. By depositing a thin film of the target wall material on the wall surface, a distinct chemical boundary condition was imposed with preserving the same thermal boundary.
