Abstract
A new sesquiterpenoid glycoside, consisting of one vetispirane-type, dmetelisproside A (1), together with two known megastigmane sesquiterpenoids, citroside A (2) and staphylionoside D (3) were isolated from the leaves of Datura metel L. The structures were determined by analysis of their MS and NMR data as well as by comparison with literature values.
