Abstract
In the paper “Why Cryptosystems Fail”, Ross Anderson ponders the question about why cryptosystems really fail. Obviously, there may be weak crypto-algorithms, too short key lengths and flawed crypto-protocols. However, these were not the main reason why cryptosystems failed.
