Life expectancy of adults in England and Wales has fallen by around six months, show new figures from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.1 The institute, which calculates life expectancy on behalf of the UK pensions and insurance industries, expects men who are now aged 65 to die at 86.9 years on average.
